Victoria Van Berlo, BSResearch Assistant II Victoria.VanBerlo@mainehealth.org Victoria holds a BS in Genetics from UC Davis, with a minor in Quantitative Biology and Bioinformatics. She previously worked at the Semel Institute at UCLA in a neurodegeneration lab. In her current role at the Guntur lab, she manages the mouse colony, performs survival surgeries, conducts cell culture, and carries out other assays. Victoria is also pursuing a Master’s in Bioinformatics at the Roux Institute at Northeastern University. |

Victoria DeMambro, MSGraduate Student Victoria.DeMambro@mainehealth.org Victoria is a graduate student in the Graduate School of Biomedical Science of Engineering (GSBSE) at the University of Maine at Orono and is finishing her thesis research under the tutelage of Dr. Guntur. She has a particular interest in the rare bone disease Hypophosphatasia (HPP) in adult populations. Her thesis research aims to gain insights into the role of Alkaline Phosphatase in metabolism and mitochondrial function. |
