Dr. Yanming Li is a Faculty Scientist I at the MaineHealth Institute for Research. She earned her PhD in Genetics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, where her doctoral research focused on epigenetic and microRNA‑mediated regulation of erythroid differentiation. Dr. Li’s research applies advanced single‑cell and multi‑omics approaches to uncover the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular disease, particularly aortic aneurysms and dissections, to inform new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
