Qingchu Jin, PhD
Faculty Scientist I
Center for Molecular Medicine
Jin Lab
Developing trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) systems and computational approaches to improve patient care and to uncover the biological mechanisms that shape human health.
Dr. Qingchu Jin is a Faculty Scientist I at the MaineHealth Institute for Research. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2013) and Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Biomedical Engineering in the field of computational modeling of cardiomyocyte electrophysiology (2021). After graduation, he worked at Bristol Myers Squibbs as Research Investigator developing Quantitative System Pharmacology models for cardiovascular drugs (2022). He then worked at Roux Institute at Northeastern University as Associate Research Scientist and Research Scientist (2023-2026). Dr. Jin starts his independent research journey as Faculty Scientist I at MaineHealth Institute for Research. He is actively developing his research team. His research sits in the intersection of AI, medicine and biology. He is interested to develop machine learning models and computational approaches to solve clinical and biology questions, with a focus on the field of surgical, cardiovascular research and obesity.
The Jin Lab is currently actively recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow and a Master-level Data Analyst with experience in AI in healthcare or multi-omics data analysis. If you are interested, please email qingchu.jin@mainehealth.org and cc qjin.jobapp@gmail.com with your CV and a brief description of your research experience. Please include the job title you are applying for (Postdoctoral Fellow or Data Analyst) in the email title.
