James Bohnhoff, MD, MS is a health services researcher at MaineHealth Institute for Research, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine, and a general pediatrician in Maine Medical Partners. His clinical bio is available here. Dr. Bohnhoff completed his training at the University of Pittsburgh and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, including his pediatric residency, and chief residency, and a general academic pediatrics fellowship during which he earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research.
Dr. Bohnhoff studies the barriers and facilitators of access to pediatric subspecialty care. Some of his current work, funded through a Tufts Translational Science K21 grant, uses large claims datasets to study the prevalence of pediatric asthma and asthma specialty care throughout Maine.
