Francesca has recently graduated from Tufts University with her MS in Nutrition and MPH with a background in Biochemical and Molecular Nutrition and Behavioral Sciences and Health Communication, respectively. Experience in the field includes working in multiple nutrition labs (community health, metabolism, epidemiology, and maternal and child nutrition) from the University of Rhode Island, and the Neuroscience and Aging Lab in the USDA Jean Mayer Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging. She also served as a Student Intern on the MaineHealth Food as Medicine team, assisting in evaluation material development and activities.
Francesca now serves as a Research Program Coordinator in CIPHR, helping with overall project support, dedicated study support to multiple grant projects, product/deliverable tracking and reporting, and metrics and data coordination. Research interests include community engagement and outreach, nutrition education, and nutrition interventions around behavioral changes.
