Jess received her MPH from the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine. During her graduate program, she worked with a research team at Maine Medical Center’s Emergency Department (ED), examining the relationship between Emergency Medicine physician well-being and markers of ED crowding and boarding. Before graduate school, Jess became interested in a variety of public health research topics while working clinically as a CNA at Maine Medical Center and during her time working in production for small Maine businesses.
