Henry Stoddard is a research data analyst with the Center for Interdisciplinary Population & Health Research (CIPHR). Henry uses a variety of methods to assist investigators on multiple projects, including a project using public EMS data to create geographic density maps of cardiovascular outcomes and to analyze risk-adjusted mortality ratios in rural vs. urban parts of Maine.
Before working at CIPHR, Henry received an MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University with a certificate in Comparative Effectiveness and Outcomes Research. During his time in New York, Henry worked on research and analysis efforts at the Center for Outcomes Research and Decision Analysis at New York Presbyterian Hospital and within the Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Use Prevention, Care, and Treatment at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Prior to that, Henry earned his BSPH at Tulane University, where he studied Public Health and Psychology. While there, Henry conducted evolutionary social psychology research on how human’s MHC genes affect their relationships and health. During his time in New Orleans, Henry also used qualitative methods to analyze interviews with people who use drugs and volunteered as an emergency medical technician.
