Kahsi Pedersen, PhD is a behavioral scientist and faculty scientist at Maine Medical Center (MMC) and Co-Director of the MHIR Clinical and Translational Research Course. Dr. Pedersen received her PhD in Social and Behavioral Science from Syracuse University in 2009.

Dr. Pedersen has extensive experience with statistical consulting and advanced structural equation modeling as well as other methods of data reduction, path analysis, and analysis of latent variables. Dr. Pedersen provides statistical support for several CIPHR research projects, including the Autism and Developmental Disorders Inpatient Research Collaborative (ADDIRC).

Her other research interests include the application of dyadic data analysis and structural equation modeling to clinical and translational research studies, and cancer risk perception and communication.
